Putzy

Putzy is a Peruvian art rock, post-hardcore band signed by Blossöm Records and established in Paris, France.
History
After splitting the avant-garde band Zonaja Diablo and recording on different projects, long time friends Rafael Velarde and César Benavides teamed up again to record a new album under the name Putzy. Curses their debut album was released on April 26, 2019.
They are currently on radio rotation and preparing a European tour for the album release.

Curses is the debut studio album by Peruvian post-rock band Putzy, released on April 26, 2019 by Californian label Blossom Records. The production team included Eliud "Lou" Ortiz as mixing engineer (Michael Jackson, Christina Aguilera, Shaggy), Elliot James as mastering engineer (Maroon 5, Nickelodeon, The Fall of Troy) and Jordi Caravedo (Blessing Lies, Intifall).

Release and reception
The third single from the album 'Dance, Animal!' is currently on rotation on Iheartradio and running for Louder's grand prize of the 3rd International Summer League Torunament of bands
The album got mostly positive reviews, The music news site Abrasive Noise gave it a positive review “Curses” is mysterious in its nature and I’m still not sure what it is trying to tell me. Whatever its message may be, I enjoyed the journey of listening to something that is outside of the box and thought provoking.
