Pushpendra Kulshrestha is an indian journalist, public speaker, activist and public personality. He worked with Aaj Tv of Pakistan. He also holds the record of longest serving secretary general of press club of India with three-time terms. He was elected as head of the media persons club of India, and served despite legal opposition. During his time at the Press Club of India, he opposed measures taken by then UPA government to curb the independence of media. Pushpendra also played instrumental role in bilateral relations between India and Pakistan. He campaigned against the controversial articles in Indian Constitution, Article 35A, and Article 370. He founded an NGO, called "We The Citizens". He filed a Public Interest Litigation in Supreme Court of India questioning the legitimacy of Article 35A and Article 370 in Supreme Court of India along Sandeep Kulkarni. In August 2019, Article 370 was abolished by the Government of India.
