Psychic World Publishing

Psychic World Publishing is the independent monthly Spiritualist publication. The first PSYCHIC WORLD was published back in 1946. Founded by Maurice Barbanell, but it had a chequered history, finally ceasing publication in 1951. The title was later resurrected in 1993 and published intermittently until September 1994 when the publication was taken over by Ray Taylor former editor of the "Two Worlds" and "Here and There." Psychic World started republishing with the January issue in 1995 and is now the only independent Spiritualist publication. It has no links to any organisation.
The paper contains a wide variety of topics and writers: Covering news, scientific aspects of Spiritualism, philosophy, views and other subjects. Our writers include Editor Candy Taylor; Editor in Spirit Ray Taylor BA; Assistant editor Michael Colmer; Book reviews Matthew A Hutton and Samantha Hutton; New age Dave Robinson; Also Ray Jones, John Sutton, Leslie Price, Stephen O¹Brien, Basil Thomas; From the U.S.A. Bob Egby. From Australia there's Victor Zammit, from New Zealand Ken Pretty And Psychic Investigator Matthew P Hutton, who documents his many investigations (plus many more contributors).
It was Psychic World that broke the story in the September 1997 about the late materialisation medium Helen Duncan, who was arrested under the fraudulent medium act during the second world war. Psychic World have since been campaigning to get her a pardon, and since 1997, her story has appeared in the national press, on the news, radio and T.V. (including documentaries).
