Protica

Protica Inc. is a nutritional research firm that specializes in capsulized food. The company is most famous for manufacturing Profect, the world's first protein shots, IsoMetric, Fruitasia, Proasis, Pediagro and over 100 other brands of protein and energy drinks which are sold throughout the health care, sports nutrition and mass retail channels.
In 2008, the company decided to relocate from Montgomery County to Lehigh Valley and received a $1.1M loan and other state grants to acquire and renovate the former Saputo Cheese 250,000 square foot building located in Whitehall Township.
Products
Protica manufactured Profect, the world's first protein beverage Protica also created Protein Gems and Protein Twist which are jello-like protein foods and an alternative to its beverages. Pediagro became popular as the company's first all-inclusive vitamin and mineral supplement product created especially for toddlers and children. IsoMetric was the first complete "meal replacement" product that provides low-glycemic macronutrients in the form of two servings of fruits and vegetables. allowing liquids in large-format packages, such as a bag-in-box, to be dispensed safely and repeatedly over a long period of time without refrigeration.
