PVI retro-actively canceled the insurance policies for all covered employees. Blue Cross Blue Sheild was not paid by Protected Vehicles, Inc. for three months by December 3, 2007. Due to the cancellation, employees could be faced with unforseen medical expenses that insurance will not cover due to the cancellation.

Currently, three creditors of Protected Vehicles, Inc. are seeking to force the company into bankrupcy. These creditors include Four Rivers Peterbilt Inc., Three-D Metal Works Inc. and Charleston Aluminum LLC.
