Prose in the Park Literary Festival

| The Prose in the Park Literary Festival was founded in 2015. The third annual festival will be held on June 10, 2017. It is an outdoors festival and book fair organized by the main anglophone and francophone writers associations of the city of Ottawa, Canada. The festival takes place in the Parkdale Park. 70% of the panelists and authors selling books are anglophone and 30% are francophone. The festival is known in French as "Prose des vents," (literary Prose of the winds - this is a play on words as a Rose des vents is a compass). The festival is the largest outdoor literary event in Ottawa and the largest bilingual literary festival outside the province of Quebec. |
