Project: Placebo TV is a music video-oriented television show developed by Emmy Award winning Producer, Greg Ramar for Finger Head Filmz and is based out of Campbell, California. The show began as Portland Metro Video (PMV), in Portland Oregon in July of 2003 and ran until December of 2003 when Greg Ramar relocated the show to his home town of Campbell, California. The show then became Project: Placebo. Project Placebo has modeled itself as the premier cable access show for rock, alternative, punk, hardcore, world, and indie music. The show features on-location specials (i.e. Oktoberfest, Boogie on the Bayou, First Friday's) in the cities of Campbell and San Jose California. Project: Placebo airs every other Thursday night at 11pm through the facilities at CreaTV, and is broadcast on Comcast Cable Channel 15. Producer Greg Ramar is a graduate of the Television Production program at Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham Oregon, and a graduate of the San Jose State University (RTVF) Film program. Greg won an Emmy Award (in the Music category) in 2001 for "Egress", by the Academy of Television of Arts and Sciences (ATAS). "Egress" was a film produced during his studies at SJSU about the ceremonial process of suicide. Greg is one of only two students in SJSU's history to win this award. Project: Placebo is headed by co-founder and show Executive Producer, Tresha Ross - a native of San Jose, California.
