Project Open Sky (POSky) is a freeware addon community that produces downloadable aircraft for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Project Open Sky is considered a benchmark in aircraft design, with the company currently offering a downloadable line-up of Airbus A330 and A340, Boeing 737, 747, 757 and 767 and Canadair Regional Jet CRJ aircraft.
The latest offerings from Project Open Sky has mainly been the 737 NG (Next Generation) series. Ranging from the 737-600 right up to the new 737-900ER series just released.
On December 25, 2006, Project Open Sky released the Boeing 747SP, the first in the 747v4 series.
On March 30, 2007, Project Open Sky released the Boeing 747-100 and 747-200 as the Second part to their 747v4 series.
On September 9, 2007 Project Open Sky released the ERJ-145, second Regional Jet series after the CRJs.
At one time, Project Open Sky even included the Boeing 777 in its lineup, but for some reason, that aircraft is no longer offered.
