Project Born is an American horrorcore and gangsta rap group. Formed in 1989 in Flint, Michigan, the group was the very first act to be signed to Psychopathic Records and have since formed their own record label, Project Boy Platinum Entertainment. History Project Born was formed in 1989 by Half Pint Capone, Frank Nitty, and Lil Polk and signed to Psychopathic Records in 1994 on the strength of a demo that they had given to Insane Clown Posse, who believed that they would become "the next Dayton Family". Psychopathic had originally intended to release the demo as it had been recorded under the title of Forever In The Jects in 1994, but Project Born lost the tape, resulting in the group having to release different material under the title of Born Dead, which was released in 1995, and featured appearances by Insane Clown Posse and Esham. However, the label was not as impressed by the new material as they had been by the original demo. In 2000, 2007, 2009, 2011, and 2012 Project Born performed at the Gathering of the Juggalos. In 2013, Frank Nitty played a solo set at the Gathering of the Juggalos.
