Priya Ranjan Trivedi (born 13 March 1950), commonly known as P. R. Trivedi, is an Indian environmental scientist and presently Pro-Chancellor of The Global Open University Nagaland, also associated with Indian Institute of Human Rights, where he is the president of the World Institution Building Programme. He has given the nation with these slogal Catch Them Young, Kill Two Enemies with One Bullet - Unemployment and Pollution and Become Job Giver Rather Than Job Seeker. He has authored and edited more than 30 Encyclopaedias including the World Encyclopaedia of Geriatric Care; International Encyclopaedia of Ecology and Environment; Multi-Volume Series on Disaster Management; Encyclopaedic Series on Sustainable Development; Indian Encyclopaedia of Habitat and Population Studies; Encyclopaedia of Peace and Disarmament; World Encyclopaedia of Intellectual Property Rights; Asian Encyclopaedia of Bioinformatics; International Encyclopaedia of Total Quality Management etc. Awards Dr. Priya Ranjan Trivedi has received more than 100 National as well as International Awards and Appreciations from different Governments, International Organisations, Philanthropic and Independent Bodies based on his contribution towards protection of environment.
