Polish American Pharmacists Association

The Polish American Pharmacists Association was founded in early 1936, in Illinois, as a collective of professional pharmacists who were born or raised in Poland, received their Pharmaceutical education in Poland or in America, and had since emigrated to the Chicago-land area and surrounding neighborhoods. The PAPAs is made up of several hundred practicing pharmacists, pharmaceutical professionals, long-term care nurses, patient care pharmacists, technicians, and those interested in advancing their professions in pharmacy. The group is a cornerstone of different languages and cultures coming together in a professional manner, to discuss pharmacy and culture together and expand the ideology of pharmacy throughout its membership in both English and Polish.
The PAPAs has regular meetings throughout the year, usually with a short summer hiatus.
The association has further plans to expand beyond the Chicago-land and Illinois area.
