Policy Innovations is an online magazine that covers how ethics and innovations can combine to form a fairer globalization. It is a nonprofit media venture housed at the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs in New York City. The project began in 2004 with funding from the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, and the magazine component launched on September 6, 2006.

The magazine disseminates news analysis, commentary, interviews, audio, and innovative proposals for both reforming globalization and harnessing its power to lift people out of poverty. It also tells the success stories of NGOs and other social entrepreneurs, such as Nobel Prize-winner Muhammad Yunus. The topics that appear frequently in Policy Innovations include human rights, the role of business and civil society, climate and environmental policy, the Asian economies, and cultural shifts brought about by globalization.

Policy Innovations also maintains a database of organizations and individuals working on global social justice, as well as a library of academic papers on the economics of globalization and social change.

Devin T. Stewart is the editor of Policy Innovations, and Evan O'Neil is the managing editor.
