Pole vault spikes

Pole vault spikes are a type of footwear which have been specifically designed to improve athlete's performances in the track and field event of pole vaulting.
These spikes, a variant of regular track spikes, are usually formed to accommodate the intended running needs of pole vaulters. This running form consists mainly of a quick roll from the heel to the ball of the foot ending each stride with a violent push off of the toes. To accommodate this form, the shoes have spikes on the ball plate for continuous traction and sufficient grip to the track surface. Similar to a running spikes, the front plate in pole vault spikes should have a gradual curve upwards in the toe to assist the roll from the heel to the toe in a natural fashion. Because pole vault spikes are relatively new, another alternative to a pole vault spike would be a long jump or triple jump shoe. These are all made to accentuate this movement.
