Usually, Warhammer News and Rumours come before the Main Section of the show. The Main Section of the show focuses on one aspect of the hobby for each show. This content can include topics such as modeling, painting, reviews of Games Workshop army books and models, or reflections on Australian Warhammer tournaments. On the one year anniversary show (26/08/2008), Podhammer announced an exclusive part of the show called the Inner Circle, a paid membership which allows access to additional content. The current price for membership is $25 Australian per year. Following the release of Warhammer Fantasy 8th Edition on 10 July 2010, Podhammer ran a marathon show to celebrate the release. This broadcast was a fundraiser for the show. The marathon event had rotating guest slots and phone-ins from listeners across the world. It also included an interview with games developer Alessio Cavatore. The broadcast ran for a total of 27 hours. Cast ;Jeff Carroll: Host of Podhammer. Currently residing in Newcastle, Australia. Until 2003, Jeff played Warhammer 40K in Australian tournaments, at which point cast members Matt Cole and Steve Gibbs introduced him to Warhammer Fantasy Battles. According to Jeff, his idea for the program came from listening to World of Warcraft podcasts. Realizing there were no Warhammer Fantasy podcasts, he created Podhammer. Jeff has collected multiple armies, and has contributed in discussions of Wood Elves and Beastman armies. There has been a lot of speculation that Jeff may well be of the star sign Pisces due to his sensitivity and creativeness but at this point his place in the stars remains uncertain and hotly debated. ;Dave Palmer: Also known as Dave "Panzer" Palmer, he is a regular guest host of podhammer, Dave is known for his crass, cynical sense of humour, and general derision of host Jeff Carroll. Dave is known for giving commentary about the Australian tournament scene, as well as reviewing tactics and tips for the Dark Elf army book. ;Matthew Cole: Guest host of Podhammer. He is well known on the program for his converted Chaos Dwarf army, which is currently unsupported by Games Workshop, and his Ogre Kingdoms. He use to complain about his Chaos Dwarves only being a 3 page pdf until the Indy GT Chaos Dwarf book came out. He is also known for taking his shirt off during the marathon show for money. ;Kent Fury: Guest host of Podhammer. Worked at Games Workshop from 1995 to 2000 in Chatswood Store. Was a Manager in Newcastle 1997 and Greensbrough from 1998 to 2000. Some of his many claims to fame are painting the same Empire army for 10 years, and schooling the best players back in the day and now getting schooled. Kents signature showsong is Rocking in the Free World, by Neil Young. It was chosen as it best represents his view that capitalist society is the best place to be living. He is quoted as saying "Capitalism, get on board people". ;Trent Denison: ;Kendal Williams: Merchandise Podhammer has produced merchandise including dice with the Podhammer insignia instead of a single pip for a 'one' (heralded by the hosts themselves as unlucky). Podhammer has also released t-shirts and other memorabilia. There also is a Podhammer application for the Iphone, which allows you access to all the podcasts and other Podhammer content. Inner Circle The Inner Circle is a paid membership which allows access to additional content. The current price for membership is $25 Australian per year. Generally the Jeff will produce a 30-minute segment that only these members can download directory from the forums. Sometimes it is random like a Starcraft 2 or Transformers review, but most of the time it is just further content of the show. Recently a song was created for Podhammer that only Inner Circle members could fully listen to. Along with audio, there are also videos called "VodHammers" where Jeff has decided to show something (such as getting a Podhammer logo tattoo). In addition to all that, Inner Circle members have exclusive access to a part of the forum that others do not. Being an Inner Circle member isn't just about getting extra content, it is more about showing support to a show that people enjoy.
