PJ Collins

Patrick James (PJ) Collins (born 15 January1971) is the Leader of the Arts Party in Australia.
Collins attended Haberdashers' Aske's Boys' School in Elstree before going to where he received a BA Honours Degree in Chinese and Japanese History in 1991. He then worked variously in East Africa, London, Sydney and Edinburgh, before settling in Sydney in 2001. Over the last 2 decades, Collins has worked primarily as a Digital Producer, for many businesses, start-ups and organisations, including the ABC, UNSW and the British Library. In 2013, he founded The Arts Party with his colleague Nicholas Gledhill, and now works full-time as the Leader of the party.
Collins stood for election as an ungrouped Legislative Council candidate at the 2015 New South Wales state election.
The Arts Party has recently celebrated its first-birthday as a federally registered party and is currently preparing to run candidates for the 2016 Federal Election.
Collins has been married to Kate Mills since 2002 and they have two daughters, Coco and Bebe.
