NBC Defence Institute

The NBC Defence Institute is part of the University of Defence in the Czech Republic. The Institute consists of a group of parties that are employed by the NBC and are part of the Czech University of Defence. The Institute is responsible for applying research to training and teaching in the areas of CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radio-logical, and Nuclear) threats. Priorities include defence training of the Czech Armed Forces and teaching government administrators about national defence against weapons of mass destruction.
Mission
* According to researchers, all aspects of defence against current and prospective CBRN.
* Provide analysis necessary for decision-making, management, and protection by Czech Armed Forces against CBRN, including long-term and flexible analyses.
* Develop national abilities in defence against CBRN and in related fields.
* Train CBRN units and government specialists in preparedness and defence against CBRN.
* Produce standards and provide expertise and consultation to the Czech Republic and NATO.
