Pioneers of Love is a new wave-band from Leeuwarden, Holland. Biography Pioneers of Love was founded at the end of 2007 in Leeuwarden. The foursome had their live-debut on the Eurosonic Festival. In June 2008 guitarist Marc Hoenderboom was forced to leave the band due to a chronicle elbowinjury. He was replaced by Freek van der Heide. In 2009 the band toured through Germany, Denmark and Belgium. In the Autumn of that year Pioneers of Love opened many evenings for their wellknown friends from Amsterdam; Moke. The band also joined The Cinematics, White Rose Movement, Infadels and The Rasmus on their tours. Pioneers of Love is currently working on material for their debutalbum. Where the debut of the band is coming out is not yet decided.
