PHP Automobiles

PHP Automobiles (PHPA) is a Bangladeshi automotive company which is active in automotive assembling, distribution, sales & marketing. It is a part of PHP Family which is one of the largest conglomerate groups in Bangladesh founded by Alhaj Sufi Mohammed Mizanur Rahman. PHP Automobiles started assembling brand new Proton cars since 2017 branded as Proton. The company is headquartered in PHP Business Square, 542, Asian Highway, Sholokbahar, Bahaddarhat, Chittagong along with a manufacturing automobile factory. After recognizing acute demand and satisfactory responses from the buyers, PHP Automobile the country's first private automobile assembler based in Chittagong has programmed to expand its service across the nation. Currently It is offering Proton SAGA, Proton PERSONA, and Proton X70.
The organization is also assembling motorcycles and distributing under the name of PHP Super, PHP Pride and PHP Merkaba.
The Managing Director Mohammed Akther Parvez also the Managing Director of PHP Motor, a sister concern of PHP Family has planned to offer brand new car for the mass people of Bangladesh at affordable price and better post sale service. He is determined to reattribute the automotive industry of Bangladesh with next big things through PHP Automobiles Limited.
History
In 2015, The then Honorable Prime Minister and The Prominent Malaysian leader Mahathir Bin Mohamad was invited special guest to a program at University of Information Technology and Science. After recognizing the immense opportunity and capability of PHP Family he (Mahathir Bin Mohamad) approached The Then Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and the honorable Chairman of PHP Family to start automotive business. It would be similar to what Mahathir Bin Mohamad did in 1983 with Proton cars and to make a revolution in Bangladesh automotive sector and further he invited PHP Family to visit the factory of Proton cars in Malaysia. Following the invitation PHP Family authorities visited the factory of Proton Cars in Malaysia. After that PHP Family took quick initiative to construct a factory of car manufacturing on a land of 4.5 lakhs square-feet area in Chittagong and started full operation from March 2015. From 2019, the factory had been continuing at full volume. Now, it is capable of assembling 1,200 units of cars in a year. PHP Automobiles is now a two phases away form becoming a hundred percent car manufacturer.
PHP Automobiles captured 20% of the Sedan's market share in Chittagong city in Bangladesh. Company's Managing Director's motto to promote "Made in Bangladesh" car has been being the core inspiration for the engineers and employees of PHP Automobiles.
Products
PHP Automobiles started their assembling, distribution, sales and marketing of Proton Preve as a starter project 2017. Following that success PHP Automobiles started assembling Proton SAGA in 2019 in a large number. Now PHP Automobiles Limited is offering Proton PERSONA, Proton SAGA, Proton X70. Proton PERSONA and Proton X70 are completely built in Malaysia. Proton X70 is an intelligent SUV car with excellent voice command. All in all Proton Preve, Proton Exora, Proton SAGA, Proton Persona and Proton X70 have been presented in Bangladesh by PHP Automobiles Limited.
PHP Automobiles is determined to offer complete brand new car at affordable price for the people of Bangladesh. There are three showrooms in Chittagong and Dhaka combined. Very soon, more PHP Automobiles showroom will cove some other areas in Bangladesh.
PHP Automobiles is also presenting seven seater Microbus branded as Shineray X30.
