Philip Jewson

Philip Jewson studied piano with Australian concert pianist Rosemary Tuck before going on to King's College London and The Royal Academy of Music in London where he studied composition under the great modern master Harrison Birtwistle.
Much of his early Childhood was spent as a Chorister and he reached the semi-finals of Choirboy of the year. He sang extensively in the choir at Waltham Abbey Church.
He has played piano recitals in many halls including the Royal Albert Hall.
His work for piano in three movements 'Glacial Flow' has been recorded on 'Longman Records'.
With Paul Cartledge he composed the soundtrack for the cult classic Urban Gothic and has since worked on a plethora of music for media projects. Together with Cartledge he owns the Soho based music production company ‘Yellow Boat Music Limited'.
