Philatino is a philatelic auction company born in 1911, It started like "Philaton" but it changed definitely to "Philatino".
The company name comes from its original location, Latin America.
Today it manages in the real world as in the cyberspace.
It's creator Marco Imbelloni is surrounded by experts philatelists to check the quality of stamps in the market.
Their activity conducts auctions of all kinds of stamps, these are not limited to any specific topic. Between their more famous auctions we find the Worldwide, Covers, PS, PPC's & Prestamps and usually the half-price auctions.
There are 24 dealers working in the auctions and 40 auctions per day.
It can also be defined as a multinational limited corporation (BVI Inc.) with activity in different countries in the American and European Continents.
Philatelic community
Their selection criterion refers to honesty, integrity and fairness.
It's not itself a stamp dealer and does not buy, sell or ship any item in its normal business process. However, it can be used as advisor or expert towards every offered item from third parties.
