Petersburg Inn

The Petersburg Inn was built in what is now Petersburg, Ohio. The structure was a historical building and used to be an overnight inn for stage coach trips between Cleveland and Pittsburgh. The shell of this building revealed the old log cabin structures that made up the building. It was 160 years old when it burnt down circa 1955.
Today there is a small cinder-block building, which is used as a bar, on ¼ of the original lot where the old inn once was at the corner of State Routes 170 and 617. The foundation and the thresholds are still there.
An earlier building was used for an Inn by one of the first settlers of this area but the exact house is not known yet and is now a residence.
Across the street is a building that has a similar façade to the old Petersburg Inn and is now used as a hardware store.
