Peter Schmidt Mikkelsen (born 1954 in Denmark). Danish author and former member of the Danish military Sirius Patrol (1977-79). Has since the 1980's participated in numerous expeditions in Northeast Greenland National Park. In 1992 Mikkelsen was co-founder of the 'North-East Greenland Company Nanok'. Since 1999 he has been Managing Director and CEO of 'Nanok'.
