Peter Gallina

Peter Gallina is a British fashion and advertising photographer, celebrity portraitist and visual artist based in London, but working internationally. Life and work Gallina was born in London. His photography was first used commercially to launch the D fashion magazine distributed by the Italian newspaper la Repubblica in the late 1990s. Since then his work has been used or commissioned for clients ranging from MTV to Cosmopolitan. He had a photographic exhibition of his work in Tokyo in 2006 entitled Love Tokyo. Seen Unseen, at Gallery 21 in the Meridien Grand Pacific Hotel, Odaiba. The forty photographs were all printed by hand, with some as large as three meters by two meters, literally making it one of the largest photographic exhibitions Tokyo had seen. Gallina is a member of the British Press Photographers Association. |
