Pencil D Comedian

Nwanevu Cyril Ogechi (born 15 February 1987) popularly known as Pencil D Comedian is a Nigerian Comedian and actor.
Pencil broke even through the auspices of the popular comedy contest “AY LIVE OPEN MIC” hosted by Comedy Entrepreneur, AY in July 2010.
Early Life
Cyril Nwanevu was born in Lagos and grew up in Olodi Apapa Area of Lagos state. He hails from Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area of Abia State.
He was born to the family of Mr/Mrs Lawrence Nwanevu and he is the first among 5 children of his family.
Education
Cyril attended Anglican Primary School and Rebecca Model College. He also attended Ijora Memorial Secondary School, Tolu Complex, Olodi Apapa Lagos. He then studied Economics from Abia State University (ABSU).
Career
After emerging the winner over 50 contestants, Pencil has constantly proven to be one of the most outstanding entertainer, who switches style from slapstick comedy to stand up comedy and have graced world class events like Julius Agwu’s “Crack Ya Ribs”, Basketmouth’s “Laffs and Jam”, AY LIVE, Opa William’s “Nite of a Thousand Laughs”, Rhythm Unplugged, Miss Intercontinental, and other notable events within Nigeria, Ghana and the United Kingdom.
Pencil has also worked with notable brands like MTN, GLO, Airtel, Etisalat, Sterling Bank, Access Bank, Diamond Bank and a host of others.
He also featured in the critically acclaimed 2015 movie, Super Star, directed by Tony Abulo and also features AY, Tecno, Iyanya and other super stars.
