Peg Broadbent

Peregrine Broadbent (1964 - March 29, 2020) was an English-American executive who was the chief financial officer (CFO) of the Jefferies Group from 2007 till his death. Broadbent, a native of the United Kingdom, grew up in London and the southwest England county of Dorset. He earned an BSc accounting degree from the University of Exeter and became a chartered accountant. Broadbent started his career at Coopers & Lybrand, a predecessor of the firm PricewaterhouseCoopers. In 2007, he joined Jefferies and remained chief finance officer till his death.<ref name="wsj.com"/> On March 29, 2020, Broadbent died at the age of 56 due to coronavirus disease 2019 complications.<ref nameauto/> Broadbent was survived by his wife Hayley and his five children.<ref name"auto"/> |
