Peeron LEGO© Inventories is a (partial) listing of the parts in official LEGO© sets, with illustrations of parts where possible and cross-referencing to show what (inventoried) sets include a given part. It lists the parts in the sets with an image, part number and color name and also provides links to sites selling single parts and entire Lego sets (Set Example, Part Example). For many sets, scans of the original instructions are provided too (these are hosted in the subsection called PICSL Peeron Instruction and Catalog Scans Library). Many Lego catalogs can also be found there. The sets can be sorted by theme or year. Peeron.com is online since 1998. The Peeron server also host the LDraw website. The LEGO Company/Group does not sponsor, authorize or endorse this site. The inventories are for informational purposes only, it is not meant to be a 100% complete and faultless listing. Peeron and LDraw All parts that are available as 3D CAD models in the LDraw parts library are listed not only with a photograph of a real part but also with a correctly colored render of the LDraw model (see the examples above). The render is used preferably as it always has the right color whereas a part on a picture has only it's physical color which might not be the variant used in a particular set. Consider the set example above: It contains a 30238 Animal Spider colored in Black and one in OldGray, yet the real world picture of the part, the only image available, shows it in TrNeonGreen both times. On the other hand, the 4214 Hinge Car Roof Holder 1 x 4 x 2 is correctly displayed as a rendered image in Black although it's real world image shows it in red. This is possible because this part exists in the official LDraw parts library (download). Also, the Peeron and LDraw team work together at unifying unclear part numbers, colors and names. Database statistics Currently there are over *8400 sets known *6600 sets inventoried *3400 sets with instructions *14000 unique parts listed *14700 part pictures *11200 set pictures recorded .
