Pearce Kelleher

Matthew Pearce Kelleher (born November 15, 1985) is an American businessman, private equity investor and socialite. He is founder and president of Kelleher Capital, a financial advisory and private equity firm.
Early life
Raised in Glastonbury, CT, Kelleher graduated from Glastonbury High School in 2004. He was educated at Bryant University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2008. Before obtaining his undergraduate qualification, Kelleher briefly studied economics at the University of Westminster; he also studied finance at the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
Professional career
Previously a holding company, Kelleher Capital owned stakes in a diverse array of assets ranging from university services to land design consulting to a listed equities long/short hedge fund. As of 2008, all of the company’s business units had been acquired. Kelleher Capital is now a financial advisor and private equity investor, specializing in merger and acquisition transactions as well as principal investment.
Personal life
Kelleher maintains a $25 million Manhattan apartment, as well as a homes in Greenwich, CT; London; and Paris. He enjoys frequent travel to Gstaad and St. Moritz, the French Riviera, and to more exotic locations such as Bora Bora, Koh Samui, and the Maldives. In October of 2009, he took delivery of a 2010 Gulfstream G550 aircraft.
