Payam Jarrah-Nejad

Payam Jarrah-Nejad, MD, FICS, FACS, also known as "Dr. J", is a Persian-American Double Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, operating his own private practice in Beverly Hills. He received a fellowship in hand surgery at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City and operated under the guidance of Dr. Charles P. Melone, Jr. He went on to complete his residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Wayne State University, Detroit Medical Center in Michigan.
He is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Jarrah-Nejad performs a full range of plastic surgery procedures, and has received recognition for his use of the autologous-fat transfer technique in performing buttock augmentation procedures. He performs charity work in Peru, where he has performed reconstructive surgery on a young dog bite victim, responded to medical emergencies, and corrected cleft lips, palates, and congenital hand anomalies.

Jarrah-Nejad was featured on the MTV documentary series True Life in which he consulted a woman considering a buttock augmentation procedure.
