Pavel GolovanÐµv

Pavel Golovanev (; 13 May 1982, Moscow, Russia) is a Russian medical doctor and plastic surgeon.
Early life
Pavel Golovanev was born May 13, 1982 in Moscow in a family of medical doctors. Father Golovanev Sergei, mother Golovaneva (Suskaya) Galina.
Since childhood, he was fascinated by the natural sciences, which is largely due to the beneficial influence of his father (MD, PhD in Medicine), and his mother (MD, PhD in Medicine).
Career
In 1999, after successfully graduating from school, he entered the Moscow Medical Academy (MMA) ahead of schedule and in the same year entered the Russian State Medical University (RSMU). Later he chose to continue his studies at the medical faculty of the Russian State Medical University.
In 2005, after graduating from the Medical University (RSMU) with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree, he entered a clinical internship in the specialty of Surgery, which was held at the 13th Moscow City Clinical Hospital in the Department of Surgery and the Department of Purulent Surgery under the leadership of Vladimir Obolensky, one of the leaders of the modern Russian school treating wounds and severe wound infections.
In 2006, after completing his internship, he continued his studies in the specialty Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in clinical residency at the Moscow Healthcare Department on the basis of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of the 1st N.I. Pirogov (Moscow).
Since 2007, he has been actively working on the study of the features of methods of treating congenital diseases of the skull, various forms of craniosinostosis and craniofacial dysostosis.
Currently, Pavel Golovanev is the head of the cranio-facial surgery service at the Moscow State Pediatric Medical Center for children with congenital pathology.
Golovanev is a member European Association of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgeons (EACMFS),
European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS),
Russian Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (RSPRAS).
