PaulDotCom Security Weekly is a weekly podcast hosted by Paul Asadoorian and Larry Pesce. The first episode was released on 27 October 2005.
Recorded each Thursday via Live audio stream, PaulDotCom Security Weekly (PSW) consists of Paul Asadoorian and Larry Pesce discussing various issues in computer security. They cover vulnerabilities, firewalls, password security, spyware, rootkits, Wi-Fi and many other topics.
Podcast feed PaulDotCom Security Weekly is distributed via its main podcast RSS feed 15px (link). The audio is encoded as 80 kilobit per second MP3 files. There have also been several PaulDotCom Security Weekly TV episodes, although these are far less frequent.
Show format PSW runs for approximately 1 hour, with the actual discussion of the subject of the podcast typically starting 10 minutes into the show. The first part of the show, approximately 25-30 minutes, is usually a 'Technical Segment' where Paul and Larry have an in-depth discussion about a particular security tool, attack or methodology. The remainder of the show is spent discussing current security news, vulnerabilities and research. Paul and Larry also frequently host guests on the show, or interview various members of the security community.
