Mike Bower

Mike Bower (also Michael Bower or "Bower") is a radio personality who hosted on the Maxim Channel on Sirius Satellite Radio from 2005 to 2008. The Bower Show starred Bower, Scooter and Producer Laura. In 2008, Bower was "let go" by the Maxim Channel and immediately began work at EA SPORTS for a groundbreaking online video game called "Game Show".
History
Mike Bower began his career in 1992 at KSJO in San Jose under the pseudonym "Zakk Michaels". At the same time that he was Program Director at KJCC on the campus of San Jose City College. He has worked at KFMF in Chico, CA; KXFX in Santa Rosa, CA; KRZR - "The Wild Hare" - in Fresno, CA; WDFN in Detroit, MI; WTKX in Pensacola, FL; KCXX - X1039 - in San Bernardino, CA; on Sirius Satellite Radio and .
Bower now hosts a nightly sports-based podcast on blogtalkradio.com (and as of 2009 it is simulcast on ErrorFM.com) called The Wheelhouse
Maxim Radio Highlights
- One of The Bower Show's favorite moments was when RUSH drummer NEIL PEART came in for a very rare interview whose transcript still lives online today.
- Award winning writer and director of the movie Juno, DIABLO CODY was a weekly contributer to the show. Her segment aired every Friday called "Fetish Friday" where DIABLO brought the cast members a new and twisted fetish to talk about every week
