Paul McMillan is a postdoctoral fellow in the theoretical astrophysics group of Rudolph Peierls Centre for Theoretical Physics at Oxford University. His main area of research has been galaxy formation.
Background and Research McMillan was born in 1981 in West Sussex, England. He obtained a BA and MSc in Theoretical Physics from Cambridge, then went on to study for a PhD at Leicester University, where he analysed galaxy interactions. He is currently working on the European Space Agency's Gaia project at Oxford University.
