Paul Eason

Paul Eason (born January 11, 1983 in Houston, Texas) is an Austin-based singer/songwriter.

Biography


Paul Eason is a singer/songwriter from Houston, Texas, where he attended Lamar High School and the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts playing the upright bass as a jazz major. During his senior year, he formed the Paul Eason Band to play at a friend's graduation party. While on a music scholarship to Texas State University, Eason released his first album, "Keepin' it 'Tween the Lines," which produced two radio singles on the Texas Music Chart: "One More Dance," which peaked at #3, and the title track, which peaked at #13. He has performed shows with artists such as Clay Blaker, Eagles, Cory Morrow, Diamond Rio, Roger Creager, Charlie and Bruce Robison, Jack Ingram, Radney Foster, Reckless Kelly, Randy Rogers, Rick Trevino, the Great Divide, Pat Green, Eli Young Band, Gary P. Nunn, members of George Strait's Ace in the Hole band, to name a few... He and the band are also currently the backing band for Curb recording artist Star De Azlan. Eason has performed from Miami to San Francisco and into Mexico, and is planning a European tour in the summer of 2009.
