The Patriotic Socialist Party is a British political party. It was launched on 1 January 2014 and incorporates the United Peoples Party (founded in 2013) and several other small groups and individual activists from across the political spectrum. The party leader is Andrew Stott. Branches The party has the following branches: * East of England * London * North West * Scotland * South East * Wales * West Midlands * Yorkshire and the Humber Policies The Patriotic Socialist Party has a 10 point manifesto: ;Social equality and equality of opportunity Preservation and progression of social equality and equality of opportunity ;National and cultural identity Advancement of Britain’s national and cultural identity. ;National self-sufficiency Attaining national self-sufficiency through the development and nationalisation of vital industries and institutions and greater regulation of the private sector in order to reduce reliance on foreign goods, create new employment opportunities and stimulate genuine economic growth. ;Environmentalism Environmentalism, bio-diversity and animal welfare in order to protect the natural world and ensure our survival as a species. ;Monetary reform Taking control of the monetary policy of Britain, including the sole power to create debt free money. ; Public services Creation of a reformed and well-funded public sector in order to ensure that the interests and the well-being of the people are not placed in the hands of profiteers and that the standards of health, education, policing and transport, among others, are maintained and enhanced. ; Immigration Introduction of a system of immigration based on economic sustainability in order to better control population growth. The free movement of people must be ended by withdrawing from the European Union and introducing a universal points-based system to manage immigration levels in the future. ;Armed forces Formation of revitalised Armed Forces in order to guarantee the safety and security of the people. ;Government Dissolution of the United Kingdom and the formation of the United Federation of Britain. A British Assembly will take the form of Britain’s central government, which will be granted all primary legislative powers, alongside English, Welsh, Scottish and Northern Irish Assemblies, which will be limited to secondary legislative powers only. ;Internationalism International co-operation in order to establish worldwide peace, security and prosperity, while firmly maintaining Britain’s independence and right to self-determination.
