Patrick.net is an anonymous forum dedicated to uncensored free speech, no matter how offensive. It was created in 2004 specifically to cover the housing bubble and quickly rose to become the top Google result for "housing bubble", "housing crash", and "Patrick". The site's creator Patrick Killelea was interviewed on Nightline, in the Wall Street Journal, Christian Science Monitor, and NPR for his bearish views on the bubble. The site's popularity peaked in 2008 with 50,000 daily readers, but has declined as housing itself received less press coverage and the site broadened from housing to economics and politics in general.
