Patrick Callum

Patrick Callum was born in 1973 and he hails from the inner city community of Tivoli Gardens, in Western Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies.
Early life
Callum, who is nicknamed “Big Chief” or just “Chief” for his large and commanding stature, was born In Western Kingston, which is the constituent of long serving Jamaica Labour Party Parliamentarian and former Prime Minister Edward Seaga. Callum spent his early life attending Denham Town Primary School; thereafter he migrated to the United States in the early 1980s to join his mother and sister when he was ten years old.
Education
After graduating from Jane Adams high school in the Bronx, NY, he attended City College of New York and he earned a degree in paralegal studies. Thereafter, he worked for public opinion poll company, Penn & Schoen Associates for four years as an opinion poll associate. In 1999 he moved on to work for the law firm of Jacoby & Meyer/Fine, Olin & Anderman as a paralegal and he was in their employ for ten years. He left the law firm and is now working for a large corporate insurance carrier, managing Short Term and Long Term Disability claims.
Organization
In addition, Callum is the President of the New York Chapter of G2K (Generation 2000), which is headquartered in Jamaica, West Indies. G2K is the young professional affiliate of the Jamaica Labour Party. G2K is a not-for-profit organization, which is composed of Jamaicans, who are committed to contributing to the social, political and economic development of Jamaica. He is the de facto point person for the party within the United States and assist with carrying out their directives within the Diaspora.
