Episode/Themes
Party Pilipinas: “The Big Change” (June 6, 2010)
This is the directorial debut of Director Rico Gutierrez and his team. Team G decided to create a new and interactive Party Pilipinas. Their show showcased a theatrical-feel among the whole production which gave the audience a different perspective or insight compared to common musical variety shows in the country. They merged classical music with club music to make a party-vibe element for the show and even used moving trusses, flame effects, laser and light sculptures. Hologram effect was also used here - first seen in Philippine TV noon time shows. They also made an origami ramp on the stage to bring the audience closer to the performers.

Party Pilipinas: in “3D” (June 20, 2010)
Another “first” in the Philippine noon time show that used the anaglyph 3D effect on live television. By using basic 3D, the viewers, as well as the studio audience, were obliged to do simple 3D glasses to clearly see and enjoy the effect. This made the interaction between the show and the audience alive.

Party Pilipinas: “I Want” (August 1, 2010)
It is all about what you want and what drives you. This theme presented the production numbers the viewers deserve to witness - the songs, the dances and its value. But what matters most in this episode is the concept of having the passion to succeed and wanting what you dream of. In line with this, the studio audiences were also instructed to write what they want on a sheet of paper to be shown on TV. They also had the chance to ask questions from their favorite Party Pilipinas artist/s.

Team G showcased a playful episode doing fun arrangements when it comes to music, lights, dances and the like by using soundtracks from famous video games. The theme’s primary goal is to grab the attention of the younger audience without sacrificing creativity among its production numbers and to tell the people that if you love what you do, it’s like you’re just playing and enjoying life. Unique Concepts or Trademarks
Countdowns
Countdowns became a trademark of Team G and every episode has a different style of the way countdowns show. As a result, they established excitement among the viewers. Even the way the countdowns would appear was made to look out for.
New Opinionaided/Facebook Forum
Team G setup this Facebook Forum/Group where active viewers can post their comments, suggestions, requests, insights and more about the episode. Good or bad, it is all welcomed here. Team G created this group so that the interaction between them and the viewers will become inevitable for they believe that a show can only become successful with the help from the TV viewing public.
Party Pilipinas Logo Structure
This can be seen throughout Team G’s episodes rotating beside the stage. The Party Pilipinas logo is designed by Team Manila and made by Paul Infante and Albert Jacinto. (image)
Holofog Effect
Another “first” from Team G is the use of Signum’s Holofog to form a fog curtain in which it can be used to project or form 3D or hologram effect on stage. It was used on Party Pilipinas “Taon Natin ‘To” Episode. (image)
Acoustic Sound
Team G created this segment to offer relaxing acoustic music for the audience. The Acoustic Sound has regular and semi-regular performers namely:
* Hannah of Session Road
* Kat of SinoSiKat
* Nyko Maca
* Miguel Escueta
* Julianne
* Miguel Escueta
* Armi of Urbandub
(image)
Kwento Mo, Sayaw Ko
Action speaks louder than words. This is a unique concept of Team G that focused on the life on an individual and then expressing his/her story by dancing. This segment brings out all the drama and emotions like in interpretative dancing.
Viva La Diva
The incredible trio, Jonalyn Viray, Aicelle Santos and Maricris Garcia, collectively known as La Diva, catches Team G’s eyes and a segment was made for them - Viva La Diva. In this segment, two songs were usually sung: the first will be made solo by one of them, alternating turns every week, and the second will be sung as a group. Combined with different melodies combined with their superb talent in singing, Viva La Diva is really a stand-out among all prods.
Visual Arts
This artwork of Sayaw Pilipinas Team was photographed by Mr. Jojit Lorenzo and was showcased on Party Pilipinas “sayaW”. It was inspired by Juan Luna’s creation of “Spolarium”. Party Pilipinas artists like Winwyn Marquez, Sef Cadayona, Rocco Nacino, Rochelle Pangilinan, Yassi Pressman and Air Dance under Paul Morales comprises the characters in the artwork.
(image)
===Rico Gutierrez’s "Dead Sync"===
Dead Sync is an editorial term meaning “sound and picture elements are perfectly aligned”. Conceptualized by Team G’s director, Rico Gutierrez gathered five dancers from Party Pilipinas dance groups and created Dead Sync. It was shown twice on Party Pilipinas “SanKaPa” and Party Pilipinas “Yakap”.
The five were:
# Bjay Barja of Manoeuvres as ShanZe (image)
# Kristoffer of Se7en as Leandro (image)
# Andrew Villareal of MaxMovement as Androniko (image)
# Niko Bolante of GrooveJackz/Philippine All Stars as Nicolas (He was replaced by his co-member Jhong Mesina on the second episode.) (image)
# Rein Navarro of Addlib as Rein (image)
Dead Sync covers a story of five different individuals having unique abilities to defeat evil. Their abilities pertain to their dancing techniques.

==="Red Mask" Short Film===
Team G experimented with different forms of art and one of them is to introduce short films in Party Pilipinas. The first and last short film produced is the “Red Mask” starring Elmo Magalona and Julie Anne San Jose. It is a romantic story with Julie Anne falling in love with a childish Elmo. The short film was a three-part which appeared on Party Pilipinas “Super Like”, “Let’s Play” and “Freestyle”. And after every part, they do a live performance of a song in relation to the film.

Musicals/Theatrical Plays
After presenting short films on TV, Team G decided to make another form of art - musical plays. They have succeeded in doing three three-part musicals namely:
UltraelectromagneticMASKIPop: The E-heads Musical
This is the first musical based on the music of Eraserheads. Rachelle Ann Go and Gian Magdangal played the major roles. The story is about Gian finding a new love, which is Rachelle, but due to a misunderstanding, a terrible accident happened in the end. It is not a typical love story with a happy ending. Team G made it unpredictable and it made an impact on the viewers.
Blue Jeans: D2 nAPOw The Musical
This is the second musical based on APO songs. It was made to target the younger audience of Party Pilipinas. It is also a romantic musical starred by Julie Anne San Jose, Frencheska Farr and Jolina Magdangal playing the role of Jessie, Anna and Marie, respectively. The story is about how the three girls found true love after their graduation.
Elmo and Julie Anne: A Wazak Love Story
This is the third and last musical based on the songs of Francis M., Andrew E. and Gloc-9. It is a rap musical based on Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet starring Julie Anne San Jose and Elmo Magalona. It has the same plot as the original story with the tragic ending. This musical generated a lot of buzz and although it displayed some violence and received negative comments, it became the most successful and appreciated musical of all.
