Parent profile

Parent Profiles (adoption profile) are documents (both online and paper) that outline information about possible adoptive families for a birth mother's child. This service is usually provided by an adoption agency, online service, or individuals that help write Dear Birthmom letters. They include information about where a potential family lives, works, and what they do for enjoyment. They are designed to help birth parent narrow their search for who they feel will be the best parent for their child.
A parent profile remains at the adoption agency, so birthmother can review them and tell the agency who they would be interested in as an adoptive family for the child. Parent profiles that are online usually provide a means for birth mothers to contact the adoption agency or lawyer representing the family.
