Paren Nyawi

Paren Nyawi(born 3 Mac 1981) is a Malaysian politician from the Democratic Action Party,Sarawak concurrently serving as Special Officer and Private Secretary to Malaysian Minister YB Teresa Kok at also MSPO(Malaysian Sustainable Plam Oil) Outreach Officer for Sarawak Region at Malaysian Palm Oil Certification Council(MPOCC).
He was a former Democratic Action Party(DAP) candidate for 2016 Sarawak State Election (SE 2016) at N.62 Katibas at Song District, Sarawak on 5 May 2016 and 2018 Malaysian General Election(GE 14) at P.215 at Kapit,Sarawak on 9 May 2018.
He made a political debut during DAP Talk at Rejang Park ,Sibu Sarawak on 21 June 2015 and also former Special Assistant to Sibu Member of Parliament YB Oscar Ling from year 2015 until year 2018.
He is a member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants as a Chartered Accountants since November 2008.
Currently Board Members at Malaysian Pepper Board (MPB) since July 2018 until Dec 2021.
Before officially joining politics,he was a Blogger at Paren Nyawi's blog, former Vice President for Persatuan Warisan Sarawak KL & Selangor from year 2011 to year 2015 and former organiser for Borneo Hornbill Festival from 2012 edition until year 2014 edition and former Director for International Borneo Fest 2018.
He had worked at Public Accounting Firm from Mar 2005 to Apr 2009 in Kuala Lumpur and an Internal Auditor at Public Listed Company from May 2009 to May 2015 in Damansara ,Selangor.
Paren Nyawi underwent primary education at Sekolah Rendah Bantuan (SRB) Cardinal Vaughan Song Sarawak from year 1988 until year 1993 before going to Sekolah Menengah Kerajaan ,Song Sarawak from year 1994 until year 1998 and later, entered Kolej Matrikulasi Labuan from June 1999 until Aug 2000 and pursuing his Bachelor Degree in Accountancy at Mara University of Technology (UiTM) Shah Alam
from Dec 2000 until Dec 2004 . Paren graduated from Universiti Teknologi Mara(UiTM) on March 2005 and received his Bachelor of Accountancy(Hons).
