Pallavi International is a three star heritage hotel located at Hathwa Place, Chetganj in Varanasi, [, India. The hotel is famous for its historical attachment and the vintage and classic royal retreat offered by it. It attracts tourists and common people from all over India. Pallavi International Hotel is close to Bharat Mata, Vishwanatha Temple, and Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Also nearby are Dasaswamedh ghat and Marnikanika Ghat. History Soon after Kishen Pratap Sahi Bahadur, the Maharaja of Hathwa Raj between 1874 to 1896, was installed, he set out on a pilgrimage to the shrines of Northern India and travelled through almost the whole of India. Later on he passed most of his remaining life years in travelling and pilgrimage, mostly in, Benares. It was under his patronage that Pallavi Palace was constructed in the heart of the city. After the death of Maharaja Gopeshwar Pratap Sahi, his family refurbished the palace to now known Pallavi International. Facilities As the hotel was built over 100 years ago, the rooms and architecture reflect the then traditional style of construction. There are 44 rooms in four different types: Standard Deluxe Rooms, Heritage Deluxe Rooms, Heritage Suite and Maharaja Suite. The Standard Deluxe Rooms have a contemporary look while the Heritage Suites have the quaint vintage flavor.
