P2Pspot is a networking website that allows college students to exchange goods and services with their peers.
History
The idea to simplify the exchange of goods and services between college peers started in August of 2007. The original site, P2Ptextbooks, was a side project created by a Grand Valley State University student which allowed fellow students to exchange textbooks on campus.
In 2008, the company changed its name to P2Pspot.
P2Pspot today
P2Pspot now allows several United States colleges to list textbooks, housing and video games with a network of friends and local schools
