The OSTC Group, or OSTC Limited, is a proprietary trading and electronic market making firm based in London, United Kingdom. Description OSTC was formed following the integration of Onscreen Trading and Trading Connections in 2005. The firm was founded in 1999 by Jonny Aucamp, Rob Brophy, Peter Green, Danny Langley and Mark Slade, former Liffe traders in London, and has over 450 employees. The firm's primary business is proprietary trading and electronic market making, and specialises in the trading of interest rates and commodity derivatives. It has offices in United Kingdom, Poland, Spain, Russia, Canada, Mauritius and India. In a 2008 profile by the Futures and Options World<ref name="fow" /> the firm was identified as being in the next wave of trading firms. Its core focus is on market neutral strategies through high-volumes on derivatives products on CME, CBOT, NYSE Euronext Liffe and ICE that benefits from liquidity provision schemes. |
