WHAT IS OROCCOCCORO? Oroccoccoro is an artistic and cultural movement born in Italy in 2006, when the Artists Andrea Sbra Perego and Simone Torri wrote the book-manifesto "The Great Treatise on Oroccoccoro Manifesto". The collaboration between the two artists already back to the 90's and the drafting of the manifesto is the natural fruit of their meeting; almost ten year of experience, both collective and individual, combined whit the basic ideas of the precursor Dario Bonazzi (1980-2003) and gained thanks to the collaboration whit the musician Nicolas Pignataro (1986-2008). Thanks to these elements, the treaty takes shape under the hands of Torri and Perego that wrote the manifesto not in a studio, but entire during a tour across the italian peninsula, adding to the teory elements of daily life. |
