Orchard Skate Shop

Orchard Skate Shop is a skateboarding shop in Boston. It was voted Boston's number one skate shop in Boston's Weekly Dig. In 2009, they released their first full-length skate video, entitled "Out of Body Experience".
History
Orchard was founded in 2006, by local skaters Broderick Gumpright and Jon Devoe. As well as hosting skateboarding events Orchard is host to shows that display the work of upcoming artists in Boston.
Team
Orchard's team consists of Kevin Coakley, Fritz Mead, Lurker Lou,Abe Pieciak, Jahmal Williams, Jerry Fowler, Billy Campbell, Jeff Valcourt, Mike Leslie, Jad Angell, Lee Berman and Bro Gumpright.Orchard Team riders Jahmal Williams and Jerry Fowler are both professional skateboarders. They ride for Hopps skateboards which is a company founded by Jahmal. Hopps is a skateboard company that is based out of New York City Kevin Coakley another Orchard team rider is an amateur skateboarder and rides for Blueprint Skateboards, Lakai Shoes, Fast Life Urethane,and Macical Go-Go. He is know for winning One in a Million which is a contest hosted by Slap Magazine which gives skaters a chance to get recognized. Lee Burman is also an amateur and rides for Consolidated skateboards, VOX, constance,and magicalgogo.
