Opti-Time Company

Opti-Time SA produces software for field service management, including real-time service call scheduling, vehicle route optimization, and geomarketing. The company has been listed on the Euronext stock market since March 2008, when it was formed by the Merger of Delia Systems and Magellan Ingénierie. In summer 2012, the company has been acquired by Geoconcept, and is now part of the geoconcept group. The fusion will be effective on 1 January 2013.
Real-time appointment scheduling
The firm's Resource Management Suite is an activity scheduling solution for mobile resources, such as delivery drivers, workers, sales people, staff taking samples and conducting tests, home service agents. This solution is available online (Software as a Service). It can be used to determine the best way to organise routes by factoring in customer locations, contractual relationships, company information and team member skills, characteristics of vehicles used, urgency of the jobs to be carried out, existing schedules, and team management.
Schedules are generated by an overall calculation based on jobs identified in advance (projected routes), including map and road data as a GIS. This is supplemented by an incremental calculation in real time providing a suggested route when and emergency or new appointment is added. The product has advanced modules for integration with corporate information systems and communication networks, and for auditing and generating reports.
Geomarketing
The company's ChronoMap software m allows to calculate distances and sectors and generate isochrone maps. This is a tool for management to analyse influential areas (customer catchment areas) or choosing new locations. It can be used to draw up balanced territories when creating sales prospecting or distribution areas.
Geocoding
The Geocoder program converts between addresses and GPS coordinates, a preliminary step to calculating optimised routes.
