Ophthalmology society of Ethiopia

Ophthalmology Society of Ethiopia (OSE) is a professional non-profitable association, constituting ophthalmologists, private clinicians, and professional medical personals. The organization is located in Addis Ababa.
OSE provides mobile surgical teams for cataract surgeries in remote and underserved areas of Ethiopia. They also conduct medical educational programs to ensure improvement of quality and motivate exposure through International Conferences.
In February 2012, OSE signed an agreement with the Ethiopian Government to ensure and assure necessary steps in future in the interest of serving public suffering from eye disorders, and ophthalmic disorders .
