Open Mine is a quarterly publication issued by New World Resources Plc, one of Central Europe's leading hard coal and coke producers with assets in the Czech Republic and Poland. The magazine, predominately aimed at retail investors, covers topics and themes relevant to NWR's business as well as interviews with leading operational management and updates on the company's CSR activities in the region. Headed up by Editor-in-chief, Tomas Pisa, Open Mine is available in English, Czech and Polish in both hard copy as well as electronic via the company's website, www.newworldresources.eu. New World Resources Plc is a UK premium listed company that is also listed on the Prague and Warsaw stock exchanges. The company produces quality coking and thermal coal for the steel and energy sectors in Central Europe through its subsidiary OKD, a.s. ('OKD'), the largest hard coal mining company in the Czech Republic. NWR's coke subsidiary, OKK Koksovny, a.s. ('OKK') is Europe's largest producer of foundry coke.
