One (Written) Language

One (Written) Language () is a Norwegian political party that ran for the parliamentary election in 2009. The party's main goal is to abolish Nynorsk as a written language in schools and the public sector. In 2009, it ran for election in Akershus, and received 100 votes.
The party was founded by Norwegian language teacher Einar Smørdal who had previously proposed such a party in a letter to the local newspaper Møre in Volda. The party's immediate issue was to end compulsory education in Nynorsk in grade and high school, while making Bokmål the sole language in public documents was a more long-term goal. The party emphasized that it did not oppose spoken dialects, it was having two parallel written languages which they opposed.
