OMTJ, is the post nominal for a Companion in the Order of Merit, of the Sovereign Military Order of the Temple of Jerusalem; Commonly known to as the Knights Templar. Companion is the first rank of four in the Templar's Order of Merit. Membership is reserved and limited to outstanding members of the Order of Knights, as well as others whose contributions and endeavors for the Order; or to society in general, merit such distinction and should include support of the specific goals.
