Omoba Central Model School

Omoba Central Model School (Primary school) is located in Isiala-Ngwa South, Abia State, Nigeria. Former name: Omoba Central School. It was converted to model primary school in 1998 by Anthony Obi, Military Administrator of Abia State.
The school has two campuses: Omoba Central Model School 1 and Omoba Central Model School 2. There is a Primary Health Centre in the school.
It is ranked among the best primary schools in the state. It has a large urban population of native and non-native students.
The Local Government Education Authority, Isiala Ngwa South, Omoba is located within the premises of the school. Also, the Abia State Ministry of Youths and Sports has a department within the school.
The school, established in 1937 is one of the oldest primary schools in the region. It has a large Alumi base of professionals.
The Omoba Central Model School football pitch is the venue for numerous political rallies, polling centres, wedding events and anniversaries. The school has a larger capacity event hall open to public use.
It is the centre for several examinations including the First School Leaving Certificate Examination, State and Federal Common Entrance Examinations and West African Examination Council (SSCE) and JAMB Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination preparatory centres.
